Scout lives on the edge. In the story, there is no main goal, just living life how it should be, one day at a time. Although there are no main goals in the story, there are some simple goals. In the story, Scout finds the inequality between races a disgrace and wants to make the world a better place. Scout realizes if you wait, the world is getting there one step at a time if you put your time and heart into it.
